Hourglass Pillow!

I had so much Lotus fabric left over from the Birdie Sling, that I was able to make this great Hourglass pillow from Amy Butler's free downloads. It looks pretty sitting on top of a floor pillow I made a while back using some Ikea fabric.

Amy Butler Birdie Sling

Jebus! I can't stop sewing! I finished the Birdie Sling from Amy Butler- using some of her Lotus fabric. I love it! It's really big though- I think I will resize it down to 70% and make another.

Elvis Costello tribute pillow

I made this pillow by tracing the cover art from "My Aim is True." Inspired by Sumblime Stiching

House Renovation

The new upstairs was framed last week. Only 6 more months to go! To see the progression, look here.

My next Project

I'm going to start this tomorrow, wish me luck....

Embriodered Portrait

Inspired by Sublime Stiching- an embroidered portrait from a Daniel Clowes comic.

Pincushion

A cute, but HUGE Wild Flower Pincushion. Free pattern found here.

All Day Tote

Just finished this bag from Lotta Jansdotter's "Simple Sewing." I used inside-out denim for the exterior and some Amy Butler fabric from the Midwest Modern collections for the interior. This was my second attempt- the first bag was very floppy. I discovered Pellon, decor weight fusible interfacing - it's my new favorite!
