I love local Austinite Amy Barber's flower hair clips, so I tried my hand at one myself. I used some various silk flowers, disassembled them, then sewed them back together with beaded detail. Then, I added some feathers and hot-gluged the whole thing to a hair clip- voila!

Hourglass Pillow!

I had so much Lotus fabric left over from the Birdie Sling, that I was able to make this great Hourglass pillow from Amy Butler's free downloads. It looks pretty sitting on top of a floor pillow I made a while back using some Ikea fabric.

Just finished this bag from Lotta Jansdotter's "Simple Sewing." I used inside-out denim for the exterior and some Amy Butler fabric from the Midwest Modern collections for the interior. This was my second attempt- the first bag was very floppy. I discovered Pellon, decor weight fusible interfacing - it's my new favorite!
